I'm pretty sure everyone here has a few Bara Artists that they really enjoy and I'd love to hear who some of your favorites are and why. :)
Speaking for myself, my personal favorite artists are…
-He's the artist who I tend to keep gong back to very frequently, I absolutely love his style! When I discovered him back around 2012, I was instantly hooked and it's just so awesome to see how far he's come as a Bara Artist. So much to the point that I want to pay homage to his work in my own art style that I'm currently developing.
The things I like most about his personal style is how he draws pecs. He always makes them look so big and bulgy and they make you just wanna reach out and give them a nice rubdown & fondle lol I also love how he gives the guys thick bulging thighs and butts, I'm a big thigh fan and the way he goes about drawing them along with the big bouncing bubble butts hits all the marks for me.
His Art is just really one of a kind and I absolutely adore it. It also pretty cool that he is open to engage with his fans every now and then, he seems like a nice guy. :)
• Sarah Borrows
- Probably the second artist I tend to come back to quite a lot. I pretty much like her art for the same reasons why I like Absolutbleu's work.
I love how she draws big bulging pecs, a narrow waist, and thick thighs and bubble butts for days lol I remember discovering her work way back in the day and it's insane how much improvement she has made over the years .
Another thing I like about her art is how variable she is when it comes to drawing characters from humans to furry/anthro and all kinds of fan art (My most favorites being Chad from A Goofy Movie, Beast from Beauty & the Beast, and Steve Klaus).
Like Absolutbleu, I really look up to her work a lot and would like to throw some homage of her style into my own!
- Like the first two, he implements the things I love when it comes to i nthe bara style. Big bulging pecs, narrow waist, and thick bulging thighs with a round bubble butts!
But the thing I really enjoy even more is his coloring style. It's gotta be some of the best coloring I have ever seen on bara art of this nature and it only amplifies all the things I like about his style. Again, truly inspiring stuff that influences me a lot. :)
• Chesschire (Twitter)
- He's a fairly new artist I discovered earlier this year on Twitter and his stuff is pretty awesome. Same 3 staples I love in Bara art but I really like his simplistic sty;e in terms of coloring and he has a knack for awesome character design!
• Charlie Tooga
- He's another artist I discovered very early on back when he went by the name Miotoko. Other than the usual three staples I like in Bara art, the thing I like most about his style is just how simplistic it is in terms of coloring. There's just something about it that makes it totally work for his style. :)
• Reeddune (formerly known as Musclust)
- Discovered his work back in 2015 and really liked it. He ha has a very distinctive style that lets you know that you're looking at a piece of art done by him, mainly the way he draws faces which are actually really cute in a cartoon way haha.
And finally for some Furry/Anthro artists whom are my favorites…
This guy's work is just astounding, I love his smooth shading style and just the way he makes his character scream beefy muscle. His more extra hyper stuff is not really my cup of tea but his general stuff is just pure awesome. :)
Another great artist who I can't get enough of. He especially knows how to draw sexy gym wear for his big characters haha.
This can go kinda biased, once most of the artist posted here are active right now, I would definitely post some of my all time favourites, but some of them are almost gone (like kupopo) or are strongly underrated.
It's all good, people like different things in art so there's bound to be some bias, especially when it comes to Bara art. I checked out Kupopo and I've definitely seen his stuff around. I liked his take on Tygra from Thundercats haha >>8793
Null-Ghost is awesome, I agree! I love the way he draw beefy muscle and his soft-shaded coloring style only adds to it's appeal. I don't mind the way he draws dicks to be honest though I'm biased because I think fat thick dicks look strangely arousing lol But I understand it isn't for everyone haha.
I checked out JacketBear and his stuff is interesting though it's not really my cup of tea though I can definitely see his talent. >>8794
Mentaiko's work has always been more hit/miss for me. I think he's a great bara artist but his stuff rarely tickled me in "that" way to be honest. I do love his smooth coloring style though and you're right that he's great at giving his characters dynamic expressions. :)
For me it's Null-ghost and Terujirou. I love how Null-ghost draws big dudes and the way he uses colors.
I've been missing Terujirou's works since I think he's been doing stuff for just the gay magazines, but lately he's been adding his works to Dlsite, actually even sort of remaking some of his older works.
I like how the draws muscles and there's something about the facial hair on his characters that really turn me on haha.
Nice. Yeah Null-Ghost definitely has a way with drawing big guys and the colors only enhance it.
I looked up Terujirou and he has a neat style, I like his inking style. :) and yeah, his expressions are pretty arousing
I also love Mentaiko, he draw some of the best, hottest and most masculine mens i hace ever seen.
I specially like the way he makes then full of big and strong muscles, but also making the look smooth and soft.
Really taken a liking to https://twitter.com/GOSHINGO1
He's got a really nice, clean style and he posts some really hot art every once in a while.
Was actually thinking of buying one of his doujins soon.
