So I made this body chart to organize my pr0n and was wondering if the chart is accurate enough. There's already several similar charts floating around the net, but I felt alot of those were missing some.

Also, preference thread, I guess. My prefs are b3-5 and C,D,E rows.

You have to do some digging. Keywords like 'bull' 'brute' 'gut' and 'thick' teamed with muscle or bodybuilder usually brings up a few decent amateur videos, but most are straight or solo.
The reason there are so few is because that top corner 4square is the bodytype of the 'strongmen' that compete by doing things like lifting cement balls and pulling trucks.
Since bodybuilding for aesthetic competition is more common than competitions of applicable strength it's less common to see the 'strongman competition' bodytype. Though bodybuilders on the 'off season' tend to bulk up a bit in the middle, but they tend to show off more when they're ''cut''

OH! well if your looking for a specific person to fap to in that range i would suggest Vince Urbank aka 'Dane'. he had a VERY brief stent in gay porn only doing two videos. He is an actual real Marine and is now a professional strongman competitor. He got ALOT of shit for doing gay porn (he's 100% straight but was cool with doing porn when he was younger and less known) so he gets mad if you bring it up and he denies it like a motherfucker (i swear dude! he has the same damn military unit tattoo, who the hell are you kidding!) . Speaking of immaturely throwing back another person's criticism at them, this is a pure paraphrase of the reply I had given you in >>4000. I did not bring the BDSM thread into this conversation, you did, and you responded to a friendly reply (>>6771) with pure butthurt (>>6773).

I was hoping to reignite friendly conversation and put that thread behind us, but since you are clearly still so hung up about it, I invite everyone to go read up on that thread, starting at >>3786. In it, you will find chiri derailing the thread into an ignorant rant against BDSM (>>3800), me expressing civil disagreement (>>3803), chiri immediately going into condescension mode (>>3816), and then making a fool of himself from then on. See how he uses the exact same shitty tactics here as he did on that thread, including the deliberately antagonistic tone, the puerile attempts to project his own flaws onto the people he is arguing with (>>4022 , >>5375 , >>5378), and making grandiose claims without, and usually in spite of, evidence (the entire thread). Add in a bit of No True Scotsman as well (>>4010), accusing people who have spent a lot more effort than him in arguing for liberal causes on this site (see the latter part of >>3209, which Taro can confirm), and doing so while remaining as civil as possible, of being "insincere".

Got bored one day and went on craigslist, looking to hangout with a buddy.

Wasn't expecting a good looking GWM to accomidate me. He was also a 6'2 silver fox with a great bod and a top floor penthouse suite at the heart of downtown. We hung out a while and then things got really hot and slippery.

Never did it with a man while having a panorama view and expensive linen.

Pulled the winning ticket on the random hookup. Wasn't even suppose to be a hookup, but I enjoyed every minute of it.

Dayum, I need a career change. That place was fiiine.

So there's been a sudden spike of female creators (coughSarahBorrowscoughcough) and projects with female curators using "bara" as this catch-all porn marketing term (look up "Burl and Fur"). When questioned over their use, the discussion and comments quickly escalate to "STOP BEING MISOGYNIST YOU FAGGOT!!!", even when phrased in a completely benign way.

Why is this OK?

Aren't the origins of "bara" as a term actually homophobic? That it doesn't define a body type, but does define who the creators are (gay men) and who the intended audience is (gay men)? Is everyone so used to people going "EWW WOMEN" that a calm, nuanced discussion is impossible?

Women can like it, zero problems with that and I'm sure anyone here would agree, and they can create whatever the hell they want… but why try to "redefine" bara? Is it that hard to say "burly" or "beefy" or whatever two-syllable word that starts with a b I'm blanking on?

I don't get it. Help.

Out of all your posts in /dis/ you literally have only once handled the OP at all whatsoever instead opting to attack me in this childish fashion. These boards are not about me and they certainly aren't about your obsession with 'calling me out' with nonsense.

We have two female users who feel they don't belong here, one of whom brought great perspectives to the board in the past and yet we have folks like you who can't even muster the energy to post on topic at all whatsoever filling up the boards with fucking bullshit.

That's a problem. I hope I made my perspective crystal clear for you.

So, at this point it's likely everyone knows what the issue is, but if you don't, and for reference, I recommend you read a few of the threads on /dis/, namely >>6773 and >>3786.

Let's get straight to the point: chiri is a toxic user. In fact, he is quite possibly the most toxic user on here, and so by a very large margin, by the sheer number of shitposts, harassment, and thread derails he is singlehandedly responsible for. Posts like >>6773, >>6806 and >>5473 are but a select few examples of the many posts chiri has dropped on here that are a) completely irrelevant to the main topic, b) not contributing in the least to whichever discussion is at hand (they're shitposts), and c) deliberately antagonistic. Those who have had to interact with chiri know that he almost exclusively talks to other users through a trademark mixture of down-talking, tangential ad hominem and condescending images. It's not cute, and it's caused more than one thread to derail completely into a fight revolving around his personality. Effectively, chiri's presence is actively detrimental to /dis/.

What makes things worse, though, is that chiri also happens to be a mod. What this means is that he can delete posts and ban users at will. You'd expect someone with that attitude to abuse those privileges, and you'd be absolutely right. So far, chiri has been mostly banning people out of personal dislike (see >>6835 , Post too long. Oh, and while were on the subject, how about you stop DELETING your posts and others posts. If you ban someone don't fucking delete the shit they got banned for saying….

It works like this:
Oh, look anon said this "…." and got banned so I won't say that.

(helps establish board rules and actually helps you moderate in the long term)

The "you don't exist to me" gif is quite fitting considering the severe double-think we've got going here. We've got a mod denying that he stirs shit up and attacks people, and he's asking for proof which is admittedly quite diplomatic – only for him to then lose all reason and stir shit up and attack anyone who provides proof he doesn't like.

How is this, combined with the exact "down-talking, tangential ad hominem and condescending images" OP mentioned to boot, not a huge red flag that the guy shouldn't have mod powers? All we need to come full circle is a banning or a post deletion.

For me, anything with VERY defined and large muscles, a defined jaw-line, and at least 18+ age classify as bara. Anything less (toned, short, under 18 looking, pointed chin, fem style) i label as yaoi.

And then there are sub categories like chibi bara, furry bara, chubby bara, 3d bara, etc.

My point of view from an english culture. This might be different in asian culture.

 No.6819

For all those years I have been using the term 'bara' myself for everything and anything perceived as 'manly'. The more drastic the comparison to just regular 'male' artwork the better it is. Just compare artists like for instance Mazjojo(Blackmonkey)+Hutoshi Miyako(TomCat) with artists such as SengaMigiri(UGCP)+Jin(Jamboree!)+IchikawaKazuhide(KAZ)etc.

This is just my personal opinion but circles such as TomCat or BlackMonkey I would never ever consider bara at all. Merely applying some "muscles" to an artwork of a "beautiful boy" is just not sufficient enough.

And what that 'one thing' is you can easily guess by either browsing through the content threads on here or simply asking yourself why you've specifically visited barachan and not some other place like 4chan's /y/ or aarinfantasy or yaoiotaku.

I've had a gallery on tumblr before, but I didn't really like how cut off the communication was. I really like reading comments and talking directly with followers but tumblr's design doesn't really work well for that.

I know what you mean. I used to be a part of a forum style art community and it was the best environment for me. I realize that it is outdated and doesn't have the convenience of a gallery but it kept the community from becoming insular. You don't have to be a fantastic artist to be recognized there either. Just post on every thread providing positive comments and helpful advice and you'll gain a good reputation. People would post work in progress for the community to come with technical comments and critiques and you'll see it progress from start to completion. Professional inkers would post line arts and encourages beginners to use them for coloring practice to be re-posted as a collaboration. There were monthly event which was a weird mix of collaboration and competitions. Unfortunately, it was designed as a beginners proving ground and the managably decent so I've outgrown the place.

I feel like tumblr is just an extension of a gallery were professionals posts to advertise their portfolio.

Yo if you're still around, hopefully you read

Judging by what you posted you should be off to a great start on Tumblr assuming you tag your stuff correctly and do plenty of fanart to attract some fans. Open your ask box and don't be an asshat (so people only visit your page to witness your asshattery), be open open stuff, etc. And yeah, no comments, but chances are if you're renewing your online identity you're not getting many comments until you gather a few followers either way. Getting the tag reader on the new XKit extention DOES potentially reveal what people think of your art when they reblog it, though. Also, compared to twitter, your artwork has massive reblogability and doesn't expire in "coolness" the first few minutes you post it.

Furaffinity has had a few exoduses in the last couple of years or so, making it even super slower to garner followers, but it's complementary.

So Twitter would be a good bet seeing your preference for talky stuff. Be sure to draw often on this platform, though, since it's easy for your artwork to drown in millions of other posts your followers might read.

(Pic not related)

Hello everyone!

French lurker here; I've been wandering on this website for a while now and I'm posting here because of its nice community.

I'm a developer. A game developer too. I learned game development myself and can now create almost anything in 2D. I hate pre-made engines like Unity or UDK. I understand why people use and like them, but I just enjoy building things from scratch, and even if I can't reach a professional engine render myself, it's sweet to have control over your own code.

I tried to build an indie videogame studio with a friend I met during my scholarship, but it didn't worked out quite well, and I lost almost a year of my time and my work. I took it as an experience tho, not good or bad. It simply taught me things.

Now I have a full time job, but I still code and enjoy game creation on my free time. I recently built a nice point and click engine that could be used to create a good-looking game. I planned to use it for a scenario I wrote (bara/erotic/orcish), but couldn't find an artist willing to build that game… Later I decided to release the game's engine for educational purposes, and for it to be used by game makers.
While I continuously work on improving the engine, I'm gonna begin working on the documentation, which is a long task to achieve.

So before doing that (not that I'm just lazy, I prefer to make something with it AND I'm lazy!), I wondered if any of you guys is looking for a developer, or would like to form a team. I'd really enjoy working with people to create something. Even more since my previous failure.

Not really. I have a profile on Develteam, but I only used it to contact people. Not much to see there.

I attached some screenshots. Since it's just the bare engine the art used is random and the user interface is pretty crappy, thanks to my design skills. I don't think the screenshots show a lot of what you can do with it.

It's not exactly like the game you linked. It's more like old school adventure games filled with riddles solved by items you combine and use. Check out games like Myst, Gabriel Knight, Broken Sword series.

Godspeed with your endeavor. I'm curious. Which coding language(s) will your IDE support? Will your engine be able to publish with a web playable game? Besides point and click, can you perform any other simple input like mouse overs and click and holds? Lastly, does it support sprite animation.

What exactly are you intending to create when you get some people who is willing to draw the assets for you? It would be nice to see a clear intent and goal before anybody would want to sign up especially with what happened the last time this was attempted. Mentioning that it involves bara orcs is a start. Also, admitting that you are lazy doesn't instill much confidence.

Thanks for the support :)

I don't plan to make an IDE for this engine. All levels (backgrounds, examine zones, NPCs and move zones) are all created in Tiled (http://www.mapeditor.org/), a free and open source map editor.

All data not included in map files (like dialogs, sprites, scripts, items, …) are stored in XML files placed in a precise folder tree. I made some tools to edit those files, so instead of having a single software to build the game, you have a few tools. Since I often edit the engine, I update the tools alongside some kind of step in the engine. It's basically just the XML reading/writing part tho.

Since this engine is made with Monogame (http://www.monogame.net/), I can only build for iOS, Android, MacOS, Linux, all Windows platforms, OUYA, PS4, PSVita, and Xbox One. No web compiling is available right now, but the creators are talking about it here and there. Maybe it will happen one day.

The screenshots aren't showing much of the engine as I said earlier, but some inputs are already handled. Of course, it's not that hard to change something or implement a new feature, since I know how the engine works. Grabbable items are available. You can hover over an item, which displays the name of the item beside your cursor, and one click makes you grab it. An inventory pops up when you hover the bottom of the game's window, and you can place your item there to use it later on an NPC or on something else.Post too long. Click here to view the full text.

You are aware of your limitations which is good. What happened last time was was the absence of realistic goals and achievable features. As you have noticed earlier, timezone conflict means that some people miss team meetings. The lack of the managerial position lead to an abundance of artist but with little support on the programming side. Which is what makes me wary if you are the only one knowledgeable of your own engine. But then this would depend on how big your project is gonna be. I asked for the other method of user control because I was wondering if you have considered something small and can be completed in a short amount of time just to showcase what you can do. Something along the lines of a JO games that uses mouseovers, a game with branching dialogue much like the Monthly Manfuls or a dress up game. Content creators won't have to invest too much time drawing assets and there a change you might be able to finish a bara game. If the project falls though, it isn't too much of a waste of time. There is a severe lacking of game devs on the bara side so it's not that hard to stand out and people will seek you out.

There aren't any official art that I've found of the trainers. All I found were screenshots of the models in-game and pretty good fanart, both of which are quite rare.

Also I'm sure the male veteran's goatee is fake.

Maybe you can try to practice by comparing between rl human and Hulk. From there you can see what exaggerate the body , proportions and volume of each muscles.

That's my suggestion.
