Deception (Also known as Trapt for some titles) is a Videogame series from Tecmo, it has you controlling a character defending a castle (or other location) from invading characters (ranging from talented warriors to innocent children. all with Bios you can read about and frequently connected to eachother, like children coming to look for their parents and vice versa.) using Traps to brutally/efficiently/creatively kill them, Plot tends to play up the fact you are Evil, via demonic possession or other plot convenient things, Your player character is also completely helpless aside from those traps, so you basically stand around looking helpless to bait the NPCs into them, you are scored how many traps a NPC is combo'd into and what types of traps there are (Hence the Indignity meter, it tracks how "Humilating" your Trap chain is, which gives you EXP for that category)
You only play as a man in the first one (that has you be in first person perspective so you never see him), all the sequels have you play as women.
4 was released on PS4/Vita, with a later updated rerelease with additional bonuses like a "Create your Invader" mode.
I like it for the gameplay, but as a homo it isn't exactly as fanservicey to me as it could been if i had been straight, so don't get the game(s) only for fappy times, only if the actual concept of fighting with traps and being the evil master of a dungeon killing adventurers intrigues you.
If you check out the LParchive there are some nice LPs to get a better grasp about the series.
It is one of those "Cult Classic" game series.
